2024 Wyoming State Mineral and Gem Show
Shoshone Rock Club in Powell and Cody 59ers Rock Club are jointly hosting the 2024 Wyoming State Mineral and Gem Show on May 30-31 and June 1 at the Park County Fairgrounds. The event includes many vendors with amazing rock-related merchandise, activities for children and adults, demonstrations by skilled rock artisans and hobbyists, educational displays, showcases, a rock identification table, speakers, educational presentations, and field trips. Sign up to join one or both of the clubs, if you’re interested. There’s something for everyone to enjoy! Tickets cost $5 per day or $10 for all three days for people 12 and older, and kids under 12 get in free! Hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday and Friday, May 30-31, and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, June 1.

June 1 is also Pebble Pups day, with special prizes and activities for kids 5-12 who are interested in rocks.
