Beginning Knit Class
Learn to Knit!
This will be a very beginning knit class with an introduction on yarn, needles, introductory stitches, and getting started. Learn this fabulous skill to keep you busy in the cold winter months!
DATE/TIME: January 11, 2024; 1-3pm. Ages 10 and up are welcome
Class includes: Understanding yarn weights, determining needle size, knitted cast on, garter stitch
Materials provided by student:
Any Aran/Worsted (size 4) yarn, natural fibers are typically easiest for beginning knitters (not textured or fuzzy)
US 8 (5.0 mm) needles, or close to that size
