Four Part Drawing Series with Rebecca Weed.

This is going to be a great way to charge into the new year DRAWING. All levels welcome. Each of the four classes will cover a single aspect of drawing techniques and materials. Members can sign up for all four sessions for $225 ($250 non-members) plus an $80 materials fee sign up for individual classes – $67.50 ($75 non-members), plus a materials fee per session.

Classes will be Saturdays, 1pm to 5pm.

• January 21 – Figurative Drawing/graphite. We will cover the basics of drawing the figure from sketching to more complete studies. Students will be using pencil and graphite on paper. (supply kit $25)
• January 28 – Perspective and Composition/mechanical pencils. Class will cover basic perspective in both landscape and interior spaces. Students will use mechanical pencils on paper. (supply kit $10)
• February 4 – Abstraction to Landscape/pen and water-based mediums. In this class you will work with techniques in loose abstraction forming into landscapes using watercolors, gouache and pen on paper. (supply kit $25)
• February 11 – Revisiting Figure and Animals/charcoal. Students will revisit some figurative techniques and add to that for more complete images using charcoal on paper. (supply kit $20)
