Homestead Series

Friends, this is very exciting!  Our Homestead Series is coming together.  The focus of this series is to learn more self sufficiency skills.  The instructors are all local people who live here.  People have been showing great interest in learning how to do each of these skill sets.  Now is your chance to also learn!
Here are some examples of what you will learn.  Have you ever wanted to raise your own meat but don’t have property for larger livestock.  You can raise chickens and/or rabbits.  The Livestock Processing session will teach you how to process your own meat.
Are you new to horses but want to explore the backcountry?  The Backcountry Horsemen will teach you how to pack a horse or mule safely so you can see that beautiful mountain region, way off of the beaten path.
Have you wanted to learn how to make wine or beer on your own but are not sure where to start?  You can learn how at the Homestead Series.  Canning, bee keeping, cheese making, soap making and so much more. All of these skills are now available to you.  All taught by people who live in our Big Horn Basin.
Not many people know about the changes in solar energy.  New rules and guidance abound with new possibilities and outcomes.  Learn more about this at the Homestead Series.
For a one time fee, you will be able to attend as many sessions, as you want.  Plus lunch will be provided for those attending on Saturday.
What a great opportunity.   Don’t miss out on this chance to learn skills that will better your life.  Share this opportunity with your friends.  Sign up today! https://nwc.edu/learning/workforce/program?id=2afb3e1c-6472-49f7-b1d5-801800473353
