🌟Meeteetse Ice Fishing Derby
The Meeteetse, Wyoming 16th annual Ice Fishing Derby is a highly anticipated event that draws in fishing enthusiasts and spectators alike from around the country! Held on the first weekend of February, the derby is an exciting opportunity for participants to showcase their angling skills and catch some of the largest fish in the area.
Meeteetse is a charming western town nestled near the eastern border of Yellowstone National Park. And it is the perfect location for this outdoor winter activity. Surrounded by stunning mountain views and abundant wildlife, visitors can enjoy all the natural beauty that Wyoming has to offer while experiencing the thrill of ice fishing.
Participants are required to register online prior to the event. The registration fee includes a commemorative swag bag and beanie.
Participants will also have a chance to win one of several door prizes.
All anglers must follow the rules and regulations set forth by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, including a valid Wyoming Fishing License, and limits on the size and number of fish that can be caught
