“Rocks Found Around My House”

As part of our continuing outreach to the Cody Senior Center, The Cody 59ers Rock Club will give a presentation on “Rocks I Found Around My House and/or Town” this Monday, May 15, 2023, at 10 AM. Please bring specimens you have found on your property or in the area around it. You could also bring samples you have found in the town you live in or within a couple miles of the city limits. We Live in amazing place with lots of rocks literally at our doorstep. Many of you have brought specimens that you have found in the areas listed above to meetings in order they have them identified. So bring them and will show the seniors what they can find right around where they live.

Members not wanting to bring specimens are still invited to come and participate. We will finish by 11:00 AM. Call or pm me if you have questions about this program or if you have suggestions for future monthly programs topics at the Senior Center.
