Wild and Working Lands Film Festival
“Who will carry on the traditions of the Crow people?” asks Noel Two Leggins, who mentors Apsa’alooke (Crow) youth in cultural and spiritual heritage. That is the question explored in Rylon Bird’s short film, The Return, that has been accepted into the Wild and Working Lands Film Festival. The festival, which shares a series of short films, is a project of the Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources and is hosted by the East Yellowstone Collaborative. “The Return” is part of a larger project that seeks to collect stories of Heart Mountain as sacred place, led by LegacyWorks Group and generously funded by the Wyoming Philanthropic Trust.
