WYO Gives: Fundraiser for the Libraries

WyoGives – an initiative of the Wyoming Nonprofit Network – is a powerful, statewide 24-hour online fundraising event that is designed to bring the state together as one community to raise money and awareness for Wyoming’s nonprofits.

The 3rd annual WyoGives will take place Wednesday, July 13, 2022, with 250+ organizations participating. From this website platform, you can easily search and donate to nonprofits. In some cases, your donation will be matched by a partner the nonprofit has recruited or by our matching and challenge partners according to their parameters. Be sure to come back here on July 13th (anytime in that 24-hour period) and support your favorite causes and watch the ticker count the donations coming in!

Park County Library Foundation serves the needs of the Park County Library System. Our library system has three branch libraries in Cody, Powell, and Meeteetse – offering a wide range of activities from summer reading programs, adult arts and crafts, local events, to yoga classes.

Beginning this summer, we will be bringing the library to the communities of Park County that do not have a physical building. Be sure to watch for our new ‘Library Mobile Outreach Van’ for fun games and activities.

This year the foundations main focus has been to assist in fundraising efforts of the construction of a remodel for the Powell Library which presently is a blending of three building, all over 50 years old. The foundation would welcome the opportunity to further assist the Powell community in enhancing these buildings into a more cohesive and usable library space.

Thank you in advance for your donation to assist the library in their mission to enhance the lives of the children and adults in Park County.
