WELCOME
Lots of events happening this weekend - just in time for the weather to cooperate! Park County Open Lands is hosting a movie about ranching: FREE FILM NIGHT: “THE DRIFT” and Big Horn Basin Media is hosting the HOME & GARDEN SHOW in Powell. In addition, the museum will hold their WINTERFEST FAMILY FUN event on Friday. And on Sunday, the Park County Nordic Ski Association has put together events to celebrate WORLD SNOW DAY up at Pahaska.

Also, I heard the reservations for the ITALIAN NIGHT AT THE UXU on Jan 26 and 27 filled astoundingly fast. Legacy's Butcher and Burger's VALENTINE DATE NIGHT has also sold out quickly with only one table left as of last night. Plus, QT's RAMEN NIGHT is also doing very well. The takeaway? The town wants variety and a step up from the average and is VERY willing to support those efforts.

GOVERNMENT
- THE 2023 LAND USE PLAN FOR PARK COUNTY
- Certification of the latest draft of the updated Park County Land Use Plan will be considered by the Planning and Zoning Commission at a Special Meeting on January 23, 2024 at Noon in the Grizzly Room of the Park County Library (1500 Heart Mountain Street, Cody). The review will occur during a public hearing. Public comments will be welcome, along with written comments submitted in advance of the hearing. Please refer to the public hearing notice.
