Happy Wednesday! It's time to start looking toward the weekend.
|
The Summer Season is upon us, with May rolling in this weekend. That means it's time to get ready for the city's raw water system to turn on (Monday). I spotted quite a few early tourists along the North Fork looking for wildlife - and the wildlife is starting to make its way back into the park. The BUFFALO BILL DAM VISITOR CENTER OPENS on Sunday. And the EAST ENTRANCE TO YELLOWSTONE OPENS at 8:00 am on Friday, May 6, but it'll be yet another week before we can get south of Lake Hotel. Construction starts next Monday on the stretch of road from Chimney Rock to the entrance, so plan accordingly.

Legends Bookstore is celebrating INDEPENDENT BOOKSTORE DAY this Saturday. If you, too, love having a local bookstore here in Cody, stop in and help them celebrate.

While some local clubs and groups are winding down for the summer, Mark & Connie Fisher are starting up a SALSA DANCE CLASS over at The Colonel on Wednesday nights in May.

Check THE CALENDAR website for updates because more events are always found. At this point, I'm adding 30-50 a week on average. I've also added a LIST VIEW along with the CALENDAR VIEW.
